Joomla! Schools

Joomla Schools is an initiative by Paul Andringa, the Managing Director of Cavalier LTD who, following the death of his son in 2006, decided to create a separate revenue stream within his organisation that can be dedicated to the memory of his son Casper.

Casper died after a 5 months battle in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit after being born 16 weeks premature with a Tracheo-Oesophageal Fistula (TOF) and Oesophageal Atresia (OA), a rare condition affecting 1 in 3,500 babies.

Having experienced at first hand what is involved with the care of such small babies Mr Andringa and his family feel that they have to help any way they can to relieve the already overstretched Neonatal Intensive Care Units in the UK and to assist children's hospices with the great work they do.

It was out of this tragic event that Joomla Schools idea was born.

25% of all profits made will be donated to charities such as the Rainbow Family Trust, Francis House, Winston's Wish, Bliss and other Children and Baby Charities to improve the well being of children and babies in the UK.

We have set ourselves an ambitious target of raising a total of £1,000.000 by 2012 through the design and hosting of School Websites.
